Scott Brown wants to cash in on Celtic’s win at Ibrox last month when they meet Sevco at Hampden on Sunday.

Despite the incredible hype going into the match the home side were unable to beat ten men and looked crushed at the final whistle.

Talk of a title challenge was killed off there and then as reality set in with Celtic now 13 points ahead in the table going into the split.

Graeme Murty has now admitted that losing that match has damaged morale among his squad with Dave King ruling out the former Reading man from taking charge on a permanent basis.

When the draw was made the Sevco squad celebrated as if they had scored a last minute winner at Firhill but five days from kick off the tide has turned with the Ibrox squad looking weak and fractured.

Asked if that result would still be on the minds of the Sevco squad Brown told The Sun: “It probably will be, yes.

Also, we’re turning up with 11 men this time and going to Hampden, where we have had some great games recently.

We’ve played really well there and we’re also going into the game on good form.”

Combattin Brown’s influence is the number one priority for Murty with one suggestion being to bring in Kenny Miller to nullify the impact of the Celtic skipper.
