Allan McGregor is poised to join Scott Arfield and James McArthur as part of Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox dream team.

According to a report in The Sun the Hull City keeper is in talks about a Bosman move to Sevco in the summer.

Any move for McGregor is bound to be bad news for Wes Foderingham who has been first choice keeper for three seasons.

The 36-year-old refused to TUPE his contract over to Sevco in 2012 and signed for Turkish side Beskitas.

A year later he signed for Hull and spent part of last season on loan at Cardiff City.

Since losing 4-0 to Celtic at Hampden sales of season tickets have been slow but the launch of transfer and management rumours is expected to increase sales.

Director of Football Mark Allen is dealing with all current transfer business.

Before the new manager can be given his transfer warchest Close Brothers will have to be repaid the £3m emergency loan that they provided to see out the current season.
