Celtic provided James Traynor with another lesson in PR by gazumping the signing of Scott Arfield by announcing a new four year contract for Kris Ajer.
Less than a day after Celtic collected the SPFL Premiership trophy Traynor thought that he had pulled a stunt by announcing the glamour signing of the former Falkirk starlet.
In mid morning Sevco announced a media conference and quickly leaked the news that Arfield would be the first signing of the Ge55ard revolution.

With no prior warning, 15 minutes before Arfield spoke to the media Celtic tweeted that Ajer had signed a new four year contract.
At his media conference, alongside director of football Mark Allen, the Ibrox new boy revealed that talks had started a few months ago which further confirms that Ge55ard will have little influence on the players coming into the tribute act.
Arfield expects to be drawn against Burnley in the Europa League qualifiers, assuming that Sevco make Progres, at his media conference the Canadian internationalist didn’t wear a blazer, shirt or club tie.
