Positioned towards the South Stand side behind the goal that the hoops attacked in the first half Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham’s goals were perfectly captured.

With 11 minutes on the clock McGregor cracked home a half volley that Trevor Carson couldn’t get near with Ntcham drilling a low shot into the net 14 minutes later.
Despite the sometimes brutal tactics of the Motherwell players Celtic stood firm to retain the trophy and clinch the double treble.
There was no second half scoring at the traditional Celtic End but after a long season that started in Belfast in July there were no complaints from the 40,000 hoops fans inside Hampden.
After lifting the Scottish Cup Brendan Rodgers’ squad jumped on board an open top bus to make the journey back to Celtic Park cheered on by thousands of fans.
