Charlie Adam has claimed that Celtic will never make it ten-in-a-row.

The Stoke City midfielder quit Rangers (IL) for Blackpool in 2011 and has watched from afar as the hoops have dominated the Scottish game.

Despite being rejected by Walter Smith and Ally McCoist the 32-year-old still has strong feelings towards Ibrox and was drawn into a debate started by Tam McManus.

Writing his column for The Herald the former Hibs striker predicted that Celtic look like winning the treble again next season.

That brought about some angry responses with Adam one of the more restrained to comment on McManus’ claim.

Adam was a team-mate of Steven Gerrard during his one season at Liverpool and is predicting great things for the former Anfield youth coach.

As a free agent at the end of next month Adam could join the revolution but is likely to stay south of the border once it gets round to discussing wages.
