Bobby Madden’s incredible run of big match appointments continues on Sunday when he takes charge of Celtic’s visit to face Hearts.
The East Kilbride based official refereed Celtic’s recent 4-0 win over Sevco at Hampden with the Tynecastle fixture his fifth hoops fixture since December 30 which includes three Glasgow derby appointments.
Celtic go to Edinburgh with the title already clinched but the Tynecastle fixture is often full of controversy.
In December Celtic lost their 69 match unbeaten record against Hearts although the hoops bounced back to defeat Hearts at home the following month.
On Saturday Alan Muir will be referee the Sevco v Kilmarnock match with John Beaton in charge at Pittodrie where Aberdeen take on Hibs.
Willie Collum will referee Tuesday’s match between Aberdeen and Sevco with Beaton taking control of Celtic’s match against Kilmarnock the following night.
Just three points currently separates Aberdeen, Sevco and Hibs in the race for second place.
