Lustig’s anger

Mikael Lustig suffered as much as any Swede as Germany struck a stoppage time winning goal against Sweden to keep alive their World Cup hopes.

As the world admired the stunning goal from Toni Kroos things got a little heated on the touchline.

Television viewers got to see a highly animated Janne Andersson as the Swedish boss came to terms with the last gasp defeat- following gestures from a German official.

A draw would have kept Sweden in pole position to qualify for the last 16 of the competition alongside group leaders Mexico who have full points from two matches.

Sweden must now try to raise their game to face Mexico knowing that they must get a better result than Germany achieve against South Korea.

Lustig has played the full 90 minutes (plus) in both Swedish matches with former Celtic striker John Guidetti making a late appearance as a sub against Germany.

So far no action has been taken against the Germans for their reaction to the winning goal against Sweden.
