Celtic are expected to complete the signing of Odsonne Edouard over the weekend.
Yesterday Paris Saint Germain were ordered by UEFA produce 60m euros by the end of this month in order to meet Financial Fair Play rules over a three year period.
That will clear the French club to return to the transfer market from July 1 with Celtic in pole position for Edouard.
A down payment of £5m is expected to complete the deal with a further £5m performance related.
Crucial for the deal is the player who is keen to return to Celtic after Brendan Rodgers got his career back on track after taking the 20-year-old on loan last season.
Edouard scored on his debut against Hamilton Acces, netted a at-trick at home to Motherwell then scored three times in two matches against Sevco including the winner at Ibrox in March.
With Celtic starting pre-season training next week Rodgers is expected to increase his transfer activity with the first round Champions League qualifier being played on July 10 or 11.
