Graham Dorrans has had to left Sevco’s sunshine training camp in Spain to catch an Easyjet flight back to Glasgow.

According to a report in the Evening Times the midfielder will undergo a knee scan putting his place in the Revolution in doubt.

Sevco splashed out £1m a year ago to sign the powerful midfielder from Norwich City but last season was marred by injury.

The 31-year-old was out of action from October 25 until March 31 then picked up another knock in the second last game of the season, the 1-1 draw away to Aberdeen.

Despite having the summer off to clear up that knock Dorrans will now undergo another scan which suggests that the root of the injury has still to be identofied.

Sevco are well covered for central midfielders with Jordan Rossiter, Ryan Jack, Andy Halliday, Greg Docherty and Scott Arfield capable of filling Dorrans’ boots.
