One proud Sevco fan has been set up over his club’s new look change kit.

Despite the high profile April announcement of a kit deal with Hummel there has been no sign of what the new shirts will look like.

Some enterprising types in Turkey have been cashing in on the uncertainty by knocking out two tops that have gone down a treat with Ibrox fans on holiday.

Selling at the equivalent of £5 a time the white top with a postage stamp union jack design has sold almost as many units as the much requested orange change kit.

Friday’s glamour friendly at home to Bury could remove some of the mystery over what Steven Gerrard’s side will be wearing in the 2018/19 season but it’s likely that Connor Goldson will be forced to wear training kit for that match.

An excuse of technical difficulties or working flat out to meet demand is expected as the excuse for not having the new kit available.

Across the city Celtic supporters have been buying up the two latest tops produced by New Balance with profits split between the retailer, manufacturer and the club. None of the money goes to Turkey.
