Celtic fans were delighted to see Odsonne Edouard open the scoring in the 3-0 win over Alashkert in the first match of the Champions League qualifying campaign.
Shortly before half time the striker redirected a wild shot from James Forrest into the net for the first competitive goal of the season.
Last month Celtic paid a club record fee to sign Edouard on a permanent deal from Paris Saint Germain with his partnership with Moussa Dembele a constant threat to the Armenian champions.
Odsonne and Moussa are going to *DESTROY* defences this season. Tres magnifique! #COYBIG ????

Celtic controlled the game throughout as they eased to victory in the first of what they hope will be eight qualifying matches to reach the group phase of the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers was able to give substitutes Scott Sinclair, Eboue Kouassi and Lewis Morgan a run with the entire squad looking fit and sharp.
James Forrest and Callum McGregor scored in the last ten minutes to ensure that next Wednesday’s return match is a formality.
In the second qualifying round Celtic will face Valur or Rosenborg.
