Scott Sinclair has dismissed returning to England.

The attacking midfielder had a dip in form last season prompting speculation that he was on his way out of Celtic.

With his partner, Helen Flanagan on the cast of Coronation Street it was an easy conclusion to jump to but moves to Bournemouth and Brighton were miles off target.

Despite the hectic pre-season schedule that could see him play in Austria, Ireland, Armenia and Norway this month Sinclair is happy to make Glasgow his his home.

Speaking to The Sun he said: “We have two girls now, there will be pink all over the house but it’s great.

It was a bit of a shame I had to come away for pre-season so quickly.

I was only with the family for about two days before I came out, so it was good to see them.

You have to take care of your family and coming away sometimes can be difficult.

You miss your kids and you want to get back to them but we’re settled here. We’ve been here for two years now, and we’re happy living in Glasgow.

I love Celtic and I love playing in front of 60,000 most weeks. The fans are amazing and I’ve got no reason to leave.”

Sinclair moved to Celtic just under two years ago to team up again with Brendan Rodgers and celebrated his debut with the winning goal against Hearts at Tynecastle.

Despite last season’s form slump the 29-year-old has scored 43 goals for Celtic while helping Rodgers’ side to a double treble.
