Celtic have been linked with a move for Harold Moukoudi.
According to a report in The Sun the Le Havre defender has been identified to cure Celtic’s defensive problems.
Moukoudi is rated in the £5m category and is expected to leave the French second division side before the transfer window closes on Friday.
Brendan Rodgers has been looking all summer to strengthen his defence with the issues involving Dedryck Boyata and Jozo Simunovic increasing the urgency to bring in reinforcements.
With Celtic’s already strong French connection Moukoudi shouldn’t take much convincing to make the move to Glasgow where he can expect to move straight into the first team.
Middlesbrough, Burnley and West Ham have been linked with the 20-year-old but with Celtic’s need being urgent a deal could go through this week.
