Jim White was under fire from Celtic fans this morning as he pleaded with Brendan Rodgers to quit Celtic.
His mid morning show on TalkSPORT show opened with fake concern over Celtic’s defeat in Athens and interest in Rodgers’ career.
While most Celtic fans are very concerned by the opening to the season and the fracture in relations between the boardroom and dug-out that certainly wasn’t the angle that the former STV man was coming from.
@talkSPORT jim white is a rangers supporter who is anti Celtic and anti catholic ..this is him wearing a orange order flute band jacket . pic.twitter.com/oSRaQIFp41

When does the condescending Jim White’s opinion matter ? Has he ever paid into any Scottish game in the last 25 years ? Stick to your sky funded ivory tower & “ the best league in the world “ ????

@bobmillstt All Celtic fans are disappointed and fuming at the board, however for Jim to suggest Celtic need to go deep in the UCL is delusional. If Celtic made the UCL groups we would be in the bottom 5 from 32 in regards to budgets/turnover.

Two years ago White was drooling over Mark Warburton and Joey Barton and how they were about to shake up Scottish football.
One painful 5-1 defeat later and both were toast, Barton almost instantly with former city trader Warbo put out of his misery with his tribute act trailing Celtic by more than 20 points.
Fear of 10 is White’s only remaining interest in Scottish football.
He dined out in the good old days of Dave Murray, from his new English base the landscape of the Scottish game is much changed and painful to survey.
Celtic will resolve their own issues, Rodgers will outlast Steven Gerrard and none of the Celtic directors will be double dating the High Court on Thursday.
