The Daily Record has claimed that Eboue Kouassi has been told to find a permanent exit from Celtic!.
The midfielder still has two years left to run on his Celtic contract and is unlikely to be rushed out the door with just a couple of hours remaining in the transfer window.
Unfortunately he has to go down as the most expensive ‘failure’ of Brendan Rodgers’ reign but every manager has a few deals that they prefer not to discuss.
At the turn of the year it looked promising for Kouassi when he impressed in the home wins against Hearts and Zenit St Petersburg but the return leg in Russia looks like the end of the road for his Celtic career.
Being drafted into the team that lost 1-0 to Hearts at Tynecastle didn’t do him any favours with no one impressing that day.
In January Rodgers had suggested that Kouassi could go out on loan but injuries put paid to that plan, now it seems that his exit will be of the permanent variety.
