Chris Sutton watched Celtic survive some ‘squeaky bottom’ moments to book their place in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
Rosenborg had the bulk of first half possession and a couple of half chances but the 0-0 scoreline was a fair reflection of the action as the hoops went through on a 3-1 aggregate.
After the confident pressing display in the home leg Celtic were put under pressure by the Norwegian side during the first half but few real chances were carved out.
Well done to Celtic ????????Not vintage by any means but stuck to the task well… Jury still out for me on Hendry and Ajer but fair play to them second half they defended strongly.. these ties aren’t easy??

This is far from over… no real conviction in Celtics play… lucky to be level…if Rosenberg get one could be trouble…

Not a convincing first 30 minutes… need to improve fast..

At the start of the second half Celtic upped their possession which killed off any prospect of Rosenborg making it a difficult evening.
In the final ten minutes the Norwegians got increasingly desperate in their efforts to breathe life into the tie but Celtic held on comfortably to go through.
Next week the hoops will host AEK Athens with the winners of that tie going through to the play-off stage- with Sutton and BT Sport picking up the coverage.
