Leigh Griffiths and Jozo Simunovic will be in the Celtic squad for Saturday’s match against Livingston.
The striker has been missing due to a thigh strain while the central defender sat out both matches against Rosenborg due to suspension.
Griffiths last played during the pre-season trip to Austria but after a full week of training he is ready to give Brendan Rodgers a fresh striking boost ahead of the Champions League tie against AEK Athens.
????? BR: “@Leighgriff09 will be back in the squad and @SimunovicJozo will be available again. That’s two players who are important for us and will add to the squad.”
More from Brendan Rodgers ahead of #CELLIV online soon.

With Mikael Lustig and Tom Rogic both appearing as substitutes last night against Rosenborg the hoops squad is slowly returning to full strength.
Dedryck Boyata and Moussa Dembele are the only big hitters unavailable with the Belgian defender likely to be included in the squad to face Hearts next Saturday ahead of the return leg with AEK.
Rodgers is still looking to strengthen his squad but with the Champions League qualification campaign well underway it’s unlikely that any new signings will be pitched in for a high profile debut worth millions to the club.
