Punters rushed to twitter to back up Tam McManus in his rammy with Kris Boyd.
The obsessed Kilmarnock substitute was put in his place by Brendan Rodgers after he made a number of claims following Celtic’s 2-1 defeat at Rugby Park.
A dressing room split with players desperate to move elsewhere was the conclusion that Boyd came to as he watched from the bench as an unused substitute at Sunday’s match.
As ever with Boyd the criticism of Celtic was spread far and wide as TalkSPORT, Sky Sports and Radio Scotland provided him with a platform.
I do actually agree with Tam on this. He was piss poor in England and with any sort of decent marking anywhere else. More a sad indictment of the league than anything else.

Kris Boyd… The man who’ll score the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in a 4-0win against wee teams..wasn’t trusted in big games. His record proves this.

I’d imagine even the more reasonable Killie fans will be on Tams side ???? Boyd is a tit. I thought being shunted off BBC Sportsound would’ve taught him a lesson. But no, he can’t help himself. Whoring himself around the Sevco support at every opportunity. Think he has a plan ????

Are The People on here defending Boydie’s right to have an opinion, honestly the same ones wanting Lenny cited for saying Celtic will still win the league???????

Fact is – @The_Tman10 is right… No matter how many Zombies chew their keyboard.

Boyd is best ignored. Brendan owned him today, he will be quiet for a while now.

The SFA has rules about players and officials acting in the best interests of the game which includes negative comments on other member clubs.
As ever with the SFA they seem very selective about how they administer their own rules with Boyd apparently immune from criticism.
