Filip Benkovic will miss Celtic’s Premiership clash with Aberdeen and is a doubt for the Europa League tie against RB Salzburg.
The defender signed a season long loan on transfer deadline day and made his debut in the 0-0 draw away to St Mirren.
After impressing alongside Dedryck Boyata in the 1-0 win over Rosenborg it looked like Celtic had solved their problems in central defence.
That proved to be wishful thinking when Benkovic pulled out of the Premiership match away to Kilmarnock and also missed out on the midweek win away to St Johnstone.

Jack Hendry is expected to partner Boyata tomorrow as Celtic look to win their first Premiership match in three attempts when Aberdeen visit Glasgow.
Celtic travel to Austria next week on Europa League duty and although Benkovic is only 21 years old he does have impressive experience of European football from his Dinamo Zagreb days.
