Celtic won’t be making any complaints about the scheduling of their Betfred Cup semi-final with Hearts.
Last night the SPFL announced that the match would be played at 7.45pm on Sunday October 28 meaning that thousands of fans will be unable to get home by public transport.
Hearts and Aberdeen both expressed their anger about the scheduling but there won’t be any formal complaint coming from Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will be in Europa League action in Leipzig on the Thursday night before returning to prepare for their first semi-final of the season.

The logistics of getting close to 100,000 supporters in and out of Hampden on a Sunday have been criticised by MSP’s with virtually no supporters praising the decision and scheduling.
Celtic will play Hearts the following Saturday in the SPFL Premiership but it seems that no consideration was given to switch that match for the semi-final.
