Plenty of obstacles were put in their way but the Celtic support had the last laugh as they enjoyed a huddle at a half empty Murrayfield.

After announcing Hampden as the match venue the SPFL switched 45 miles east to Edinburgh throwing out the travel plans of many long distance fans.

Scotrail were poorly prepared for the exodus with supporters queuing up well outside of Queen Street Station from early in the morning with fans waiting at stations east of Glasgow seeing full carriages fly past without stopping.

Eventually by kick-off time most supporters were inside Murrayfield but it wasn’t until the second half got underway that the hoops turned on the style.

Scott Sinclair, James Forrest and Ryan Christie did the honours as the green and white fans celebrated.
