Australian website The World Game has repeated it’s claim that Daniel Arzani has a get-out clause in his Celtic loan deal.

Charly Musonda and Jack Aitchison are two examples of loan transfers that have been cut short but Brendan Rodgers has denied that there is one in the Arzani deal.

Despite that denial, which they gave full coverage to, TWG has insisted that the Australian World Cup player could return to Manchester City before the turn of the year.

However, The World Game – which was first to reveal news of Arzani’s move to Celtic – has been told by sources close to his camp that such an arrangement exists and remains in place, though none of the parties want to see it activated.

Yesterday Arzani joined the Celtic first team squad training at Murrayfield but it’s difficult to see where he will fit in to Rodgers’ squad in the short term.

Since his three substitute appearances at the World Cup Finals the teenager has started four reserve matches for Celtic without completing the 90 minutes.

With Rodgers putting a big emphasis on having players fit for 90 minutes Arzani has an uphill task playing his way into Celtic’s first team plans.
