Angry Neil McCann confronted Steven McLean after Dundee’s 2-1 home defeat from Kilmarnock.

The Dens Park boss was upset about the award of a penalty against his side as they racked up their seventh defeat in eight SPFL matches.

Dundee got off to the perfect start when Adil Nabi opened the scoring in the 10th minute.

Killie were back on level terms seven minutes later through an own goal from Andy Boyle with an Eamonn Brophy penalty early in the second half winning the points for the Aysrshire side.

With four consecutive home defeats on their record the pressure is on McCann with Dundee anchored at the foot of the table going into the international break.

McCann now has the international break to ponder over today’s defeat with his side next in action in two weeks time away to Livingston.

Celtic face Dundee on October 31, three days after the Betfred Cup semi-final against Hearts at Murrayfield.
