CELTIC TV has released a video clip of Karamoko Dembele’s first ever Celtic goal.

The 15-year-old was on target yesterday as the hoops demolished Partick Thistle in a Glasgow Cup tie at Lennoxtown.

Dembele’s progress has been carefully monitored on social media since video clips first emerged of the tiny kid virtually taking on teams single handedly before smashing the ball into the net.

Yesterday’s goal did include some great close control but also, whisper it, a little bit of fortune as it took a slight deflection on the way into the net.

Lewis Bell and Ciaran Diver had already netted before Dembele’s 13th minute strike with captain Kerr McInroy extending Celtic’s lead before the break.

McInroy added his second early in the second half before substitute Paul Kennedy completed the scoring late on.

Because he is under 16 Dembele won’t be able to play for Celtic’s reserve side until February but he is available to play in the remaining Glasgow Cup ties.
