Callum McGregor’s growing reputation among Celtic fans has been recognised with the launch of a charity pin.

Che McGregor features the Celtic midfielder in the style of the Argentinian Marxist.

The politics of the Celtic midfielder are unknown but with the profits from the venture, launched by the Mire CSC, going to charity everyone will be happy.

McGregor was given his Celtic debut in Ronny Deila’s first match in charge and responded by scoring the only goal of the game away to KR Reykjavik.

Despite an impressive scoring run after breaking into the side the local bhoy drifted out of favour and wasn’t included in Brendan Rodgers’ early selections.

When Tom Rogic got injured in December 2016 Stuart Armstrong moved forward into that role with McGregor excelling alongside Scott Brown.

Over the last two years he has barely been out of the team with a string of big match goals including strikes against Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg last season as well as goals in the semi-final and final of the Scottish Cup as Celtic retained the treble.
