Within a week of Ann Budge looking to drive out a small minority of hooligans Hearts fans are planning a meeting with Tommy Robinson.
The extremist English Defence League activist has a number of openly racist policies that are at complete odds with any club that claims to be inclusive and open to all

You do know the guys at that event raised £3000 for charitable causes. Doesn’t fit the narrative though. https://t.co/TFYjQYHunH

Tommy Robinson is the Hearts mystery benefactor.

I told people about this shameful element and was told it didn’t exist. What do people think about it now? Are they happy about this? Fucking deplorable. https://t.co/CUjBcsGxiR

Robinson commented on Instagram after a large group of Hearts fans were pictured at a charity event wearing Robinson masks.
Hearts have a long history of extremists in their report but it appeared that going into administration in 2013 would lead to a new more progressive type of supporter.
While the old Rangers club failed to get a CVA approved and went into liquidation thanks to the efforts of Foundation of Hearts around 10,000 supporters made monthly donations to retain the history of the club founded in 1876.
Being associated with Robinson isn’t likely to engender the club to large sections of Edinburgh society and is likely to encourage fellow travelers to hook up with the extreme right wing fans already at Tynecastle.
