Celtic gave a performance worthy of their new Disco Lights to beat RB Leipzig 2-1 to keep alive their hopes of progressing in the Europa League.

After losing to the Austrian and German versions of Red Bull the hoops had it all to do but went into the match without Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths and Olivier Ntcham.

Fortunately James Forrest, Tom Rogic and Filip Benkovic came into the side that lost in Germany.

It was Forrest that set up the opener for Kieran Tierney with Celtic taking that lead into the interval.

After appearing to soak up the best that Leipzig had to offer the Germans equalised in the 78th minute through a header from Jean-Kevin Augustin but amazingly Celtic were back in front 14 seconds after the restart thanks to a goal from Odsonne Edouard.

Following some punishing European performances earlier this season Celtic go to Rosenborg at the end of the month knowing that a win will keep them in contention to qualify going into the final match at home to RB Salzburg.
