Celtic and Australia face a potential clash over Tom Rogic in the new year.
The Socceroos will take part in the Asian Cup with group matches on the 6th, 11th and 15th of January.
Celtic will be enjoying their winter break at that time, likely to be in Dubai with the UAE hosting the Asian Games which runs through until February 1.
Australia will be among the favourites to reach the final which could rule Rogic out of five domestic matches following the winter break.
Celtic does have a good relationship with the Australian Federation but this competition could be a difficult one to find a compromise around.
In 2017 Celtic used the Confederations Cup held in Russia during June to help Rogic’s return to fitness after he had missed three months of the domestic season due to injury.
Later this month Australia have international matches at home to South Korea and Lebanon.
