Five days after their stormy clash at Tynecastle Hearts and Hibs have been served with a Notice of Complaint relating to a confrontation.

Late on Monday afternoon the SFA issued the notice which could lead to fines for both clubs.

The confrontation relates solely to events on the park.

Rule 204 relates to “where three or more players and/or members of team staff from one team are involved in a confrontation with opposing players and/or members of team staff of the opposing team during and/or directly after a match.”

It seems that once again Hearts are to escape any investigation into attacks from the stands at Tynecastle.

Both assistant referees were struck by missiles while Neil Lennon was felled by a coin thrown from the new main stand at Tynecastle.

The match ended 0-0 with fans arrested in connection with the attacks on the assistant referee and Hearts goalkeeper, no arrests have been made in connection with the coin that was thrown at Neil Lennon.

In 2011 while managing Celtic Lennon was attacked on the touchline by a Hearts fan, no action was taken against the club by the SFA or SPL.
