Scott Bain starts his first Premiership match of the season as Celtic take on Livingston at noon today.

Craig Gordon will watch from the stand with Conor Hazard on the bench, Kris Ajer replacing Filip Benkovic is the only other change from the Celtic side that beat RB Leipzig on Thursday night.

With Hearts losing 1-0 at home to Kilmarnock yesterday a draw will be enough to take Celtic to the top of the SPFL Premiership table.

Having won their last seven domestic games the hoops will be looking for an eighth win going into the international break.

Celtic’s return to form has sent out a message to the rest of the league ahead of a packed programme through December.

Livingston’s impressive start to the season has come off the rails a little after losing their last two matches but with Dundee and St Mirren drawing with each other yesterday they are well clear of the bottom positions.

CELTIC: Bain; Lustig, Ajer, Boyata, Tierney; McGregor, Christie; Forrest, Rogic, Sinclair; Edouard

SUBS: Hazard, Hendry, Morgan, Mulumbu, Hayes, Benkovic, Ralston
