There was one outstanding moment of skill during Celtic’s 0-0 draw with Livingston and it didn’t involve Dolly Menga escaping a red card for putting the nut in Ryan Christie.

Eleven minutes from half-time with Celtic stepping up the pressure the ball broke free down the left flank, Kieran Tierney’s patch.

Showing a mix of skill, confidence and determination the Celtic defender used the sole of his left foot then his right to claim possession and build up another attack.

It was over in a literally two seconds but demonstrated the high level of skill that Tierney has developed.

Alas he wasn’t able to do anything similar in or around the Livingston penalty box as Celtic had to settle for a point in a goal-less draw.

It was a struggle for the hoops playing on the new plastic of Livi as they battled through only to find goalkeeper Liam Kelly in outstanding form.
