Filip Benkovic wants to extend his Celtic stay beyond the January transfer window- in the Europa League.
The defender joined Celtic on loan at the end of August but Leicester City have an option to recall him in January.
Claude Puel has gone on record about wanting Benkovic to experience a full season at Celtic but a massive January bid for Harry Maguire could change the landscape.

Benkovic has yet to experience defeat as a Celtic player, maintaining that record tomorrow night will ensure that Brendan Rodgers’ side retain an interest in the Europa League going into February.
