Wins over Motherwell and Dundee are essential before trips to Pittodrie and Ibrox with Rodgers confident that his players can deliver the right results.
“I can’t complain because the players have been incredible for me,” he told the Daily Mail.
“In two and a half years they’ve had great success. There’s a world of difference between success and having the hunger for success. They know that. You can see they are still hungry to do that.
“From time to time there will be variables that go against us. Injuries, things that will happen in the game, and maybe not quite being at our level.
“It sometimes happens. We came off the back of a really tough game on Thursday (the 2-1 home defeat to Salzburg).
“Hibs are one of the teams you go to who have good energy and always seem to find the motivation when they play against us.
“They deserved to win so they take the three points. We do what we’ll always do – go away, reflect on it, never get too down about it.
“The players have been amazing for me. Now we have to kick on and put that hunger into action.”
Kieran Tierney is likely to be back in the starting XI tonight with a late decision taken on Mikael Lustig.
Rodgers is hoping that Ryan Christie, Tom Rogic and Dedryck Boyata will be in contention to face Dundee on Saturday before two key away days.
