After lying low following his sacking by Dundee, Neil McCann has relaunched his media career.
Sky Sports viewers were treated to his insight into the recent 1-1 draw between Dundee and the new Rangers club which mainly consisted of hard luck stories of how fates had conspired against him succeeding in management.
BBC Scotland were next to offer the former Hearts winger a platform with an ‘extensive interview stringing together excuses for his failure in the dug out.
‘I’m a passionate man. When a 6ft 5 goalkeeper grabs you behind the neck I’m not going to just walk away’

McCann’s time in charge at Dens Park will be best remembered by his touchline clash with Tommy Wright following a 4-0 win for St Johnstone at Dens Park.
The incident had ‘wee guy syndrome’ written all over it with words of sympathy few and far between when his P45 was delivered by Dundee.
A record of one win and eight defeats in the SPFL tell their own story but it seems that no lessons have been learned with McCann looking for a return to management to prove that he was right all along.
