Confusion reigns over Celtic’s interest in Jeremy Toljan.
The Borussia Dortmund defender has been a transfer target over the last 48 hours as Celtic look to bring to bring in a new left-back.
Screen shots from Sky Sports Deutchsland claimed that Toljan had joined Celtic until the end of the season but there has been no further confirmation of the move.

An hour after the news broke in Germany, Sky Sports in the UK hadn’t touched the story despite their saturation coverage of transfer matters.
Every breaking rumour gets covered by Sky Sports as the yellow tie comes out to add extra drama to the occasion.
The Daily Record and The Sun both picked up on the story from Germany but were reporting on the report rather than giving it the Done Deal treatment.
Scottish clubs have until midnight to register transfers with the SFA, Celtic are believed to have officials in Germany but so far there has been no confirmation of the loan deal for Toljan.
According to Charles Paterson on Sky Sports at 7.23 tonight negotiations are continuing to bring the player to Celtic.
