On 29 December 2018 Steven Gerrard delivered the greatest day in the life of Andy Halliday and thousands of other gullibles- a win over Selik, Broony, Brenda and everything. Oh how they celebrated.
For at least the fourth time this season a title win was celebrated, the Berrz were top of the league, Celtic were in crisis and everyone was off to Tenerife to celebrate with the champions-elect.
Steve Davis and Jermain Defoe were added to the cast of champions at the cost of £100,000/week with the money repaid to Mr King from next season’s Champions League windfall.

Uncharacteristic from Joe? He’s cost us a goal at least 3 times this season, and tonight he’s cost us three points in my opinion.

Uncharacteristic from Joe? Aye lets not think back to his first touch in a Rangers jersey where he played a one-two with Bacca against Villarreal within 45 seconds

why would you change a winning formula a formation that beat the league champions and even this kilmarnock team at start of the season

Totally nieve of SG to shoehorn both Defoe and Davis into the team regardless of the last performance against that lot.

Last night reality made a cruel visit to Rugby Park, rubbing salt into wounds with Ibrox-bound Jordan Jones scoring the winner for Kilmarnock.
Since signing his four year contract Gerrard has been feeding the delusions of the gullible- now he has to deliver on their demands.
Almost every aspect of last night’s display has been taken apart by supporters online, tomorrow’s media conference ahead of the trip to Livingston is likely to be tetchy.
With another trip to Kilmarnock likely on February 9 it looks likely than another season of delusion could be over before the eighth anniversary of Administration Day.
