Vakoun Bayo made his Celtic debut in yesterday’s Reserve League win over Falkirk.

The Ivorian was given 60 minutes as Celtic won 4-1 and could have scored twice on another day.

Youngsters Armstrong Oko-Flex and Jack Aitchison shared the goals in a side that also featured Marvin Compper, Scott Allan and Dorus de Vries who were all making their first reserve appearance of the season.

Celtic are next in Reserve League action on Monday away to Kilmarnock but that game could be in doubt with five of Tommy McIntyre’s squad heading out for a Scotland u-19 training camp in Spain.

Ryan Mullen, Daniel Church, Stephen Welsh, Kerr McInroy and Jack Aitchison have been included with those players forming the backbone of this season’s reserve side.

The only downside to yesterday’s match was an injury to Wallace Duffy in the first half but Tommy McIntyre reported afterwards that there was no fracture.
