Celtic’s Supporters Liaison Officer is looking into the policing of yesterday’s match at Dens Park.

A number of troubling videos have appeared on social media that appear to show an incredible over-reaction to visiting supporters with the Irish tricolour a particular target.

Less than 8,000 fans were inside the stadium for the 12.30 kick off that attracted a very heavy police presence targeted on the visitors in the Bob Shankly Stand.

On the pitch Celtic took a decisive step towards lifting the title thanks to a stoppage time goal from Odsonne Edouard that delivered full points.

With eight matches left to play Celtic are now 10 points clear at the top of the SPFL table going into the Glasgow derby on March 31.

Only 800 visiting supporters will be present at that match with security details still to be issued for home fans, at the fixture in September a number of supporters were crushed pre-match as traditional routes into the stadium were altered forcing thousands of supporters to use the Janefield Tunnel.
