Celtic have a big decision to make over whether to allow key players to play for Scotland on a plastic pitch in Kazakhstan.

Six Celts have been selected for the European Championship tie on March 21 with two players from EPL clubs already pulling their players out of that match.

BBC Scotland report:

The Scotland boss also confirmed Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser and Cardiff City’s Callum Paterson will not play on the plastic pitch against Kazakhstan due to agreements with their clubs.

Kieran Tierney and Callum McGregor are the players most at risk on the surface with both of them troubled by injury.

McGregor last played a match on February 21 away to Valencia and has been getting treatment on a calf injury ever since.

Tierney was out of action for over two months due to a hip injury with the prospect of 90 minutes on a solid surface not going to do him any favours.

Three days later Scotland face San Marino with Fraser and Paterson becoming available again for McLeish.
