Timo Weah is a transfer target for Bournemouth.

According to a report in The Sun, Paris Saint Germain could be offered a permanent deal for the American teenager.

Weah has made a big impression since joining Celtic on loan in January but has mainly been used as a substitute.

UPDATE: Video Celts understands that there is more chance of Alfredo Morelos playing in China than of Weah joining Bournemouth in the summer.

While he has spoke glowingly about how much he has enjoyed being at Celtic there’s little doubt that he would have been hoping for more game time.

The Sun reports:

Eddie Howe’s spies have been to Scotland to watch Weah.

While scout and former Hoops striker Mark Burchill watched him in action for the USA’s Under-23 side last month.

Bournemouth, currently 13th in the Premier League, are looking at buying Weah from PSG, where he has spent the past five seasons.

Weah has little prospect of going into the PSG first team next season with the French side being watched closely by UEFA over Financial Fair Play.

Like Odsonne Edouard a year ago a straight cash offer in the region of £9m is likely to be accepted as they attempt to balance the books.

Celtic are highly unlikely to be able to make a similar offer with the prospect of another loan deal complicated by uncertainty over who will be managing Celtic next season.
