Willie Collum will referee Celtic’s match against Kilmarnock on Saturday.

It’s the fourth time since Christmas that the Lanarkshire based referee has been in charge of a Celtic match, the last time that he refereed the club from Ibrox was on November 3 after which a club statement refereed to an underlying issue.

Collum’s most recent Celtic match was the 2-0 Scottish Cup win away to Hibs at Easter Road on March 3, a month earlier in the 2-0 win away to St Johnstone Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard were both injured in the same penalty box incident with no penalty awarded.

Celtic are first out the blocks at the weekend with a 12.30 kick off giving them the chance to go 12 points clear with four games left for their closest rivals to play.

If the hoops take full points anything less than full points for Steven Gerrard’s side at home to Aberdeen will confirm Celtic’s eighth successive title. Don Robertson will be in charge of Sunday’s match at Ibrox.
