By the time that the Celtic first team squad make their way to the Billy McNeill statue before the match with Kilmarnock they will literally be met with a sea of green and white.
Since it was announced on Tuesday morning that the club legend had passed away thousands have descended on the Celtic Way to pay their respects.

Whether it is in sunlight as bright as Lisbon or in the darkness that falls over the east end of the city the images being shared are remarkable, capturing the poignancy of the moment as well as the outpouring of emotion.
The McNeill family will attend tomorrow’s match which is bound to be one of the most emotional occasions that Celtic Park has ever hosted.
Despite an SPFL title being on the line the entire build up will be about big Billy as memories are shared and a remarkable life is celebrated by supporters all ages.
