Ryan Christie will play in the attacking midfield role for Celtic against Aberdeen at Hampden with former Don Jonny Hayes playing on the left wing.

Tom Rogic scored a famous Scottish Cup Final winner against Aberdeen two years ago but has to settle for a place on the bench alongside Scott Sinclair and Olivier Ntcham.

Despite the disappointment of last Saturday’s 0-0 draw at home to Livingston Celtic head confidently to Hampden where they have beaten the Dons in three cup finals over the last three years.

Ryan Christie was the match winner in December when the hoops won the Betfred Cup Final to make it seven domestic trophy successes in a row.

The two clubs drew 0-0 at Celtic Park a month ago but the hoops were without several key players as Lennon inherited the injury problems left by Brendan Rodgers.

Aberdeen are without their skipper Graeme Shinnie who is suspended after picking up two bookings in the victory over Steven Gerrard’s club.

CELTIC: Bain; Lustig, Ajer, Simunovic, Tierney; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Christie, Hayes; Edouard

SUBS: De Vries, Sinclair, Ntcham, Rogic, Toljan, Weah, Benkovic
