Joe Worrall is set to escape scot-free from a foul mouthed outburst about Celtic despite John Guidetti and Leigh Griffiths being censured and suspended for similar offences.

A video clip involving the on loan defender and a young lady appeared on social media yesterday that certainly appeared to show Worrall not acting in the best interests of Association football.

It seems a cut and dried case for the SFA to deal with especially after Guidetti was censured in 2015 for singing a line from a song during an interview with a Dutch TV station.

The Daily Record reveals:

Joe Worrall is set to dodge a SFA rap despite being caught on camera making a foul-mouth blast at Old Firm rivals Celtic.

The Rangers defender was filmed on social media following the Ibrox club’s awards bash on Sunday night in Glasgow.

Worrall was clocked in the back of a car with a female pal who is heard saying, “No surrender,” before the 22-year-old on Gers ace added, “F*** Celtic.”

Record Sport understands the on-loan Nottingham Forest centre half is unlikely to be carpeted by the SFA however – as Aberdeen’s Shay Logan got off the hook for a similar offence.

Worrall moved on a season long loan to Ibrox in August after being declared surplus to requirements by Nottingham Forest.

While he is unlikely to be disciplined at Ibrox he’s likely to be in bother at the City Ground where Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane are unlikely to be impressed by his actions while still contracted to Forest.
