Odsonne Edouard is an injury concern for the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts.

Celtic have had a nightmare season with injuries with only Callum McGregor and Scott Bain able to avoid lengthy spells on the sidelines.

James Forrest and Kieran Tierney missed the weekend Glasgow derby through injuries with the season already over for Ryan Christie and Dedryck Boyata.

Now there is a doubt over Edouard for Hampden with the Daily Record reporting:

Record Sport can reveal the Frenchman injured an ankle late in the 2-0 Ibrox defeat but stayed on the pitch until the end of the match as manager Neil Lennon had already used up his quota of substitutes.

Celtic’s medics are now racing to discover the full extent of the damage but Edouard is already considered a doubt for the last league game of the season against Hearts at Parkhead on Sunday.

Edouard has been Celtic’s only available striker since the start of December when Leigh Griffiths had to take time out of football.

No replacement came in for Moussa Dembele in August, during the January transfer window Brendan Rodgers signed Vakoun Issouf Bayo with Oli Burke expected to be able to convert into playing through the middle.

Lennon could try various midfielders as a striker but beyond Edouard is short on real options to play as a striker for the match that could clinch a Treble Treble.
