Two of the Celtic players that started at Ibrox have already been ruled out of Sunday’s match with Hearts.

James Forrest and Kieran Tierney will also be missing while the season is already over for longer term injured duo Ryan Christie and Dedryck Boyata.

The Sun explains:

NEIL LENNON has revealed Celtic will be without a handful of crocks against Hearts this weekend as he sweats on their  Scottish Cup Final fitness.

Kieran Tierney, James Forrest, Jonny Hayes and Odsonne Edouard are all out of Sunday’s Premiership trophy presentation day, while Mikael Lustig is also a doubt.

They won’t be available this weekend. They will do some conditioning work over the next couple of days and they’ll then come into the  fold on Monday or Tuesday.

Kieran and James should be fit for the Cup Final. I’m very confident about that.

Odsonne, Jonny and Lustig all have tight hamstrings, which is a thing here at the moment. We won’t be taking any chances with them. They will be back in training at the start of the week.”

Karamoko Dembele and Ewan Henderson were mentioned by Lennon yesterday as being in contention with others from the reserve squad likely to be involved.

Kris Ajer and Jozo Simunovic have both played in all of the recent matches with no risks being taken on their fitness ahead of the Scottish Cup Final.

Sunday’s match is likely to involve very few players from either side that will be starting at Hampden with Hearts having their own injury concerns.

Steven Naismith has been out injured since the end of February with Uche Ikpeazu a major worry.

Since beating Inverness Caley Thistle in the semi final of the Scottish Cup Hearts have taken one point from their four post split fixtures.
