Ewen Cameron has launched an angry tirade against Tom English of BBC Scotland.
Cameron claims to be a Hearts fan but seems to have a special level of excitement for Steven Gerrard in the hope that he can stop Celtic’s domestic domination.
Currently working across the Bauer Media Group that covers Radio Clyde and it’s east coast equivalent Forth he was the face of STV2 until the plug was pulled just under a year ago.
BBC Scotland has massive reach across radio, television and digital platforms with employment levels that no commercial operator could dream of competing with.
Cameron kicked off the argument in reply ro criticism from English over Gary Lineker’s coverage of Lionel Messi’s free kick against Liverpool, it’s unlikely that English will be taking on Lineker’s job any time soon or stepping out of the comfort zone created by the state broadcaster.
Nice and professional there lads… https://t.co/QDo7GHWoxC

Dear Tom English,
You are what’s wrong with the way Scottish football is discussed in this country.
Sick of the negativity & you’re one of the worst.
Have you not got a rugby match to report on?
Yours

Tom’s attitude is the attitude that will always hold Scottish football back.
Discouragement and division are his specialities.— John Baynton Brodie (@beechnut11) May 2, 2019
well said Ewen. BBC Scotland in particular are the worst.

Bravo! ????????????
Must admit, as a younger man I was not a fan of your work. Real Radio grated on me awfully.
Unlike @TEnglishSport, I can admit my errors. You sir, are a credit to your profession, family, and the world in general!@BBCchrismclaug next please.

Scottish football hates itself to death Ewen. We have sub standard pundits who revel in pouring over fouls, niggles & refereeing mistakes! They suck the joy out of anything positive that happens in our game. I used to look forward to watching Sportscene, not anymore!
