Mikael Lustig seems just as madcap in civvies as he does in a Celtic shirt.

Over the last few years the popular Swede has been pictured on the pitch wearing a green, white and orange wig, grabbing a policeman’s hat and scrapping with opponents after a fiery Glasgow derby with his short torn.

During last season’s 5-0 title clincher against Graeme Murty’s side Lustig made a move that will forever be remembered by Celtic fans when he grabbed, then returned a few seconds later, a police hat to celebrate the third goal scored by James Forrest.

If you zoom into the picture above you’ll see the PC Lustig badge on his left lapel!

With his contract expiring next month yesterday’s appearance at Hampden may have been the defender’s final match as a Celtic player.

If that is the case he went out in style, heading powerfully into space for a classic assist as Odsonne Edouard took one further touch to deliver the decisive goal.
