Oli Ntcham played his part as France enjoyed a dramatic late win over England at the u-21 European Championships in Italy.
The Celtic midfielder replaced Jonathan Bamba in the 66th minute with England leading through a spectacular solo goal from Manchester City’s Phil Foden.
Hamza Choudhury was red carded for his X-rated attack on Bamba who had to be stretchered off but Houssem Aouar saw his penalty strike the post.
Moussa Dembele had also missed a first half penalty but after constant pressure against 10 men the French equalised through Jonathan Ikone in the 89th minute.
The injury to Bamba provided five minutes of added time, in the final minute £60m rated defender Wan Bissaka swiped the ball into his own net to give France full points.
On Friday France play Croatia who lost 4-1 today to Romania with a central defensive pairing of Filip Benkovic and Nikola Katic.
