Hatem Elhamed has replaced Daniel Arzani in the Celtic squad for the Champions League qualifiers against Cluj.
Arzani has still to put in any sort of appearance this season after ACL surgery last year with the new bhoy from Hapoel Be’er Sheva one of many options for Neil Lennon to consider in defence.
The Celtic boss will have Christopher Jullien and Jozo Simunovic both available after domestic suspensions.
Elhamed made his debut in the 7-0 win over St Johnstone at the weekend but will have his dead-leg assessed before Lennon gets around to naming his side to face the Romanian champions on Wednesday night.
Tony Ralston and Nir Bitton have both played in the last two matches but after suffering multiple defensive problems over the last three years at this stage of the season Lennon will be in the healthy position of being able to decide who should be left out rather than trying to cobble together a back-line.
